The
rdp-1 is the result of many years of research and development
in digital audio technology, and when used properly, it will give
you listening pleasure you may not have thought possible from
your system.
The
simplest description of the rdp-1 is given by its name: it's a
digital preamplifier. That is to say, it performs the functions
of a conventional preamplifier, only on digital input signals
instead of analog signals. This is shown schematically in the
figure below.
